Begeman Owners: Brenda Jones-Greenberg & James E. Johannes Health testing and history: CERF BJ-365 (1996, 6/2001), BJ-465 (01) and OFA BJ-630G29F (HD good), OFA-Thyroid: autoimmune thyroiditis. Intermittently occurring yeast infection in her left ear. She is spayed. Slight heart murmer detected August 2000. Has allergies in spring and fall. Tested positive 2001 for Autoimmune thyroiditis and is now on Soloxine. April 2003 tore her anterior cruciate ligament (Patellar Luxation) on her left hind leg. This was successfully repaired. Vet did a Patellar Luxation rating on her rear legs. Her right hind leg is fine. Her left hind leg is grade 1 and intermittent. Date of Death: Dec. 27, 2009 Cause of Death: Put to sleep. Unable to use hind legs. Comments: With difficulty she earned her CGC. She will go up to people, but if they try to pet her she will usually shy away. She is very attached to her owner and will not stray far when off leash. She does not like being left alone. She is very interested in birds and in catching them.
