Criteria used to approve Native Basenjis for inclusion in the AKC Stud Book

This is a copy of the ballot approved by the BCOA board that outlines the general procedure for evaluation of native basenjis. The Committee for the Registration of Native African Basenjis request your approval for the following criteria to be used by the BCOA board to evaluate native dogs and/or their descendants as candidates for inclusion in the AKC stud book. Required documentation, for the use of the BCOA board of directors, to evaluate African bred basenjis and their descendants to be included in the American Kennel Club stud book. Export or shipping documents, or photographic evidence showing the dog in the country of origin. At least three 8 by 10 color photographs showing both sides and the front. The sponsorship of at least three BCOA members, excluding the owner, who have examined the dog in question.
