Comments: Ojo is a
coming three year old tri-color male
imported from the Northern DRC in March 2006. Ojo is a clown with the
IQ of a genius. He is constantly trying to outsmart us and succeeds
most of the time. He is pretty voval with lots of sounds but never a
bark. He loves his Basenji girls and is usually being mauled by them
and loving it, which is good because he is high energy and this gives
him a good work out. Ojo is very outgoing with not a shy bone in his
body. I can not think of a time that he looked even remotely nervous or
put his tail down. Although his tail does wag constantly. Ojo can be
very protective of his surroundings (i.e his crate or van) but once
among people he is very friendly. Ojo is a keen hunter and does not
miss a trick. He can be aggressive with male dogs and dogs of other
breeds he is not fond of. Ojo is of proper size being 17.25 inches tall
and a little longer in back at 18.5 inches. Ojo has exceptional
shoulders and front assembly with a nice length of neck.
His topline is level with high set tail that curls over
to one side. Ojo is sound on the move, clean coming
and going with decent side gait. Ojo has very small hooded ears with
dark eyes. His head is masculine
with a short muzzle. Ojo has nice compact tight feet with good bone.
