Comments: From Veronica Tudor-Williams 1946 book: "Simolo was . . . beautifully made and very sound. With a perfect front, short back and excellent hindquarters. Splendid legs, feet and movement. Good dark eyes and coal black nose. His faults were he was far too big, his coat was too heavy, his ears were on the large size, and he had the undesirable central curl tail. His head, though well-shaped, could have been finer and he required more accentuated wrinkle."

Litters produced:

December 10, 1940 - 1 female red and white
registered and the others were considered too large
and coarse so went as unregistered pets -

Bongo of Blean
Tisandu
Dam: K'Impi of the Congo

Comments: One puppy female Wunda of the Congo. Elspet Ford writes in her 1993 book that there were more puppies in the litter than Wunda but they were not registered as they were larger and more coarse than desired. Wunda produced one litter in 1941 by Kinga of the Congo. Kinga leads down into the Andersley stock, particularly Eng. Ch. Andersley Albacore, 1951, who is behind many pedigrees.
