Avongara Rudi
Comments: Quite a cheery dog, with a big, often used yodel.
Demanding of attention. Much longer then tall and appearing to be a
fair sized male. Could be stronger in the topline. Good color. Rudi has
the "softest" expression in his dark eyes that I have ever seen in a
full African. I have never heard anything resembling a bark or even a
woof out of him but he has a distinctly tone of voice that I recognize
even in his grandkids. His bite is somewhat wry. |

Some of the puppies in this litter had strong temperament problems. We kept three pups from this litter and Elly herself while the other six pups which were not promising at the time went back to the Curbys. Both of the puppy bitches we kept had strong temperaments. At three months we decided to keep Topper (Durcella) and sell Diari. The male we placed in a show home was much nicer than the girls but he escaped and was killed by a car. Princess Peanut is in the east and is producing. The runt of the litter had four incisors missing as a puppy. The saddle-marked tri bitch was as good as Topper but had a significant undershot jaw. They were all long in the loin.
