Dallas/Forth Worth Basenji Club

The purpose of the DFW Basenji Club is...

...to protect the Breed of the Basenji;

...to develop and bring to perfection their natural high qualities;

...to advance an interest in the breed by conducting show, obedience trials,

and sanctioned matches under the rules of the American Kennel Club;

...to adhere to the standard of the Breed, as set forth by the

Basenji Club of America and approved by the American Kennel Club;

...to promote good sportsmanship among ourselves and others at all times;

...to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home abused, abandoned, neglected,

and unwanted Basenjis primarily in the Dallas / Ft. Worth area; and

...to educate the general public about the breed, its needs and temperament.
